Big Brother Naija’s seventh season is here. BBNaija 2022: Meet The First 12 ‘Level Up’ Housemates [VIDEO]

Premiered July 23, 2022.

This season’s roommates will battle and compete for N100M worth of gifts for 72 days.

It will be interesting to witness how these housemates communicate and live together for ten weeks.

Here are the first 12 housemates to watch in the following ten weeks.


Brian Chkuwuebuka

Bryann admires Wande Coal, Vybz Cartel, and Angelique Kidjo.

Imo State’s 24-year-old began releasing songs in 2019 and released a full-length album in 2021.

Bryan enjoys meeting new people, socializing, and watching movies.

Christy O

Christiana Ojumu

Christy O is a cosmetics businesswoman. This 24-year-old model believes in second chances.

She calls herself a “funny, smart, hardworking extrovert” and says you’ll find her “where the fun is”


Bright Nwekete

Cyph is from Imo State and studied electrical engineering at Madonna University. He’s enigmatic and likes eating, travel, clothes, and cruises.

This 27-year-old likes being joyful but cries easily when angry. Cyph keeps his eye on someone outside the House.


Daniella Peters Utangbe

Daniella, 22, works out when she’s not writing, acting, or singing.

She hates bullies and believes in fair play. Thus, she’s usually “the defense” in arguments.

Daniella is resilient, energetic, and wise.

She has a twin brother, five elder brothers, and a younger sister. Daniella recently ended a terrible relationship but still believes in love.


Henry Orakwue

Anambra State artist, entrepreneur, and model Groovy is 26. He has a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Lagos.

His winning mentality pushes him and others to greater heights, he says.

Odiya Ilebaye

21-year-old Entrepreneur and criminology graduate Ilebaye. She’s a provocative, adventurous go-getter who enjoys swimming, partying, bowling, and shopping.

Ilebaye doesn’t believe in love and thinks romance is fake.


Kesiena Tony Adjekpovu Kess, a 28-year-old married businessman, loves life. One of his brothers is his best friend.

Others find Kess’s stubbornness and self-esteem annoying. His dream was to enter Big Brother Naija.


First name: Ismail

Khalid doesn’t sugarcoat relationships and enjoys profound conversations and extreme sports.

He likes archery, skateboarding, basketball, anime, and mythology. This 22-year-old freelance graphic designer and muralist from Plateau State is charming.

Saviour Akpan

Pharmsavi is a multitalented extrovert with “great humor.” He loves life and acting and wants to make it his career.

Pharmsavi enjoys traveling, dancing, and video games. His exuberant, cheerful demeanor has helped him make many friends. He’s emotional and competitive and dislikes hypocrisy and lying.

Ijeoma Otabor

Ijeoma is “malice-free.” She’s short-tempered and can quarrel one minute, then converse the next.

Single and a born entertainer, she’s single. “My relationship philosophy is: Mumu falls in love.” This joyful 25-year-old hype girl is allergic to rumors.

Mbah Chiamaka

“I’m between spoiled and disciplined” Amaka, 23, is a health care worker from Anambra State.

This daddy’s girl has one sibling and adores wealthy men. Her slogan, ‘Grab the bull by the horns and forge on,’ helps her negotiate life’s highs and lows.

Etsanyi Tukura

Beauty has surpassed expectations. The 24-year-old lawyer from Taraba State is the 43rd Miss Nigeria. From 2015 to 2017, she was “Most Beautiful Girl Taraba.”

Beauty identifies herself as a generous, open, reliable free-spirit who feels she can accomplish anything.


The housemates sang along with Asake’s latest tune, Peace Be Unto You.
