Olawale of Ashimi (born 9 May 1986) is a talented Nigerian author, producer, performer, and songwriter named Brymo.
He is one of the Nigerian performers whose poetry and delivery have been praised. He began singing at the age of 14 and had his first song at the age of 18. He also published Oriri’s Plight, a fictional work.
After joining Chocolate City Entertainment in 2010, Brymo became a well-known Nigerian icon. Ice Prince’s hit Oleku featured him as well. His hook on Oleku is widely regarded as one of the best rap hooks performed by a Nigerian musician.
In 2012, Brymo’s track Ara, which catapulted him to fame, won the Recording of the Year title at the Hip Hop World Awards.

Early Childhood Development and Education
Brymo was born on May 9, 1986, in Okokomaiko, Lagos, Nigeria, as an only child. His father was an Egun petty trader, while his mother was an Awori carpenter.
Brymo attended an Islamic school where he learned to memorize the complete Quran.
He started his studies at Aganju Aka Primary School before moving to Japual Primary School. He then transferred to Ajangbadi High School in Ajangbadi, Lagos, where he graduated in 2003 with a diploma.
Brymo was a Zoology student at Lagos State University but dropped out to pursue his music career.

Brymo began his musical career in high school, recording the song “Future” in 1999.
He was encouraged to pursue music after hearing his mother sing Fuji melodies. In 2002, he established The Aliens with his friends. The Aliens, on the other hand, split after a series of problems in 2005. He pursued a solo career after that without signing with a record label.
Brymo rose to notoriety in 2010 after participating in Ice Prince’s debut studio album, Everybody Loves Ice Prince, in the song Oleku.
Brymo, an artist and writer, is married to Esse Kakadare, with whom he has a son, Raju lfr, born on March 27, 2015.
