Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar recently described how she was robbed twice on the same day in Lagos’ Apapa Road by two separate criminals. The actress, who was obviously severely upset and detested them, couldn’t believe that they had left her unhurt after recording a voice note of the entire encounter and sharing it to her Instagram account.
She stated—and I’m quoting— “God, oh God. Recently, I came upon a report of a robbery. I suddenly realized that for years, whenever I visited Tincan Island in Apapa, I was essentially a regular customer of these folks. Man, they lost me; it was like a scene from a movie. extreme experience I’m not sure how I managed to survive that.”
“Man, Naso motor doesn’t start. Nothing happened when they attempted to shatter it. They attempted to drag the car that Naso I was driving. Yes, as I previously mentioned, we were filming at Festac. Accordingly, I said, “Okay, let me take my artist, the one from Ghana.” I’ll take her to her hotel, please. I was like, thank you when one of my coworkers said, “Don’t worry, I’ll take her, you know, to the hotel.”
“Then, somehow, we ended up at a satellite town along the route. I have no idea how we got separated. I then lost track of my whereabouts. I started posing inquiries. So where are we headed with this? For Apapa, we land at Naso. Omo!!! Eh Eh! Because of the traffic, these folks were dragging something, and I had no idea what was going on. Even then, I had no idea where I was. Later, I discovered that it was Tincan Island.”
