Many people would agree that the 2023 presidential race is done if they were present at the airport when Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Lagos State on Sunday, June 19, 2022, according to Joe Igbokwe, the Senior Special Adviser on Drainage and Water Resources to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Tinubu, who became the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) presidential candidate a few days ago, returned to Lagos State on Sunday.
A large audience greeted the candidate at the airport, who had traveled from all around the state.
Before heading to the Teslim Balogun Stadium, where hundreds of fans awaited him, the former governor of Lagos State paid a visit to the palace of the Oba of Lagos, Riliwan Aremu Akiolu.
Igbokwe reacted to the news by saying, “YOU’LL KNOW IT’S ALL OVER WHEN YOU SEE WHAT I SAW IN LAGOS WHEN ASIWAJU FLEW IN FROM ABUJA. NIGERIA’S INCOMING PRESIDENT IS ASIWAJU.”
The APC leader, on the other hand, remained tight-lipped about what he saw at the airport.
