Kafayat Ameh, better known as Kaffy Dance, a popular Nigerian professional dancer and instructor, has revealed publicly that her marriage to Joseph Ameh has ended.
In her new podcast episode ‘JustKaffy,’ Kaffy revealed this.
She stated that she is single but not looking for love.
There were rumors that the couple had split up in 2021, but the dancer declined to comment on it.
Kaffy claimed that she was angry in her marriage and that breaking up with her husband was a risk she was willing to take in order to see both parties succeed in their respective careers.
Marriage is intended to be an alignment of destinies, according to her, but hers didn’t work out that way.
In 2012, Kaffy married Joseph Ameh, with whom she had two children.
“I wanted to witness my ex-husband in his greatest version,” the dancer explained, “so taking a chance to end this marriage was also to see that we both matured into what we are truly meant to be.” Marriage is supposed to be an alignment of destinies leading to a place that God desires for them, but it didn’t work out for me.
“For all people involved, separation is not the end of life; in fact, if you both are honest about why you have to separate, you will learn how much better life may be.” I was in a bitter place with my marriage, irritated and angry, but I was able to liberate myself from that zone, and now I’m in a position of healing and openness to new partnerships.
“I don’t feel any kind of way about my ex-husband now, but I wish him the best.” I’m not looking for a partner because I’m single.
“Some individuals make it back, some don’t; what matters most is the outcome bred of love; rather than seeing someone as a problem, you might be the problem’s enabler.”
