Graeme Souness has warned Erik ten Hag to resign after Manchester United’s 4-0 loss against Brentford.
Souness suggested Ten Hag’s time as Manchester United manager is up after only two games.
Ten Hag saw Man United lose to Brentford in an away Premier League match at Gtech Community Stadium, adding to their 2-1 loss to Brighton last week, leaving them bottom of the table.
Souness told talkSPORT that Manchester United is facing tough times.
“I’m not sure if this collection of players and boss will be different than previous year.
“The new players don’t excite me.”
Souness: “His time is running out.” That’s the nature of managing Man U right now. They expect huge things from him because he was successful in Ajax’s lesser league.
“The demands there are nothing like managing perhaps the world’s biggest club in the Premier League.”
