Senator Ishaku Abbo, who represents Adamawa North in the Red Chamber and is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vice presidential running partner, is said to have resigned from the APC’s presidential flag bearer’s support group as a result of the Muslim-Muslim ticket.

They released this information less than a day after Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu named Senator Kashim Ibrahim Shettima, the former governor of Borno State, as his running mate.

According to reports from Peoples’ Gazette, Senator Abbo has left the support group because he is upset that Tinubu chose a Muslim-Muslim ticket.

The Senator reportedly campaigned against the Muslim-Muslim ticket, according to Peoples’ Gazette.

Senator Ishaku Abbo claimed he would be unable to support Tinubu’s candidacy since he is a Muslim.

He added that he would be unable to support Tinubu due to his conscience.

He also declared that he was a member of the Christian Association of Nigeria and a practising Christian.

He declared that I belong to the Christian Association of Nigeria, and I can’t deny CAN.

Whatever the case, he claimed to be still.

While not endorsing the Tinubu-Kashim ticket, he is a member of the All Progressives Congress.

I still belong to the All Progressive Congress. However, I shall prioritize my nation’s existence before political considerations, Mr Abbo stated.
