In celebration of his 85th birthday, the former president gave tricycles to 85 people in June as part of an empowerment program. Obasanjo turns tricycle rider, picks up passengers in Abeokuta.
On March 5, 2022, Olusegun Obasanjo, a former president, reportedly turned 85.
Photographer Daniel Olusanya posted images of Obasanjo on his Facebook page and claimed that the former president rode a bicycle from his home in Abeokuta to the Kuto underbridge region.
The ex-president made a halt along the way and took a male passenger to show that using a tricycle safely is possible if done properly and to teach others how to start small and advance in their field.
Obasanjo claimed in a statement made after arriving back at the OOPL headquarters that he rode the Keke to show the public that doing so for business purposes was not terrible.
According to Obasanjo, there is nothing wrong with young people beginning off small. When handled correctly and with discipline, the Keke is safe and secure.
In actuality, you can organize your company whatever you like and make money that you can use to make further investments. You can also offer the extra one to someone else if you can obtain one. As a result, you start working for yourself and have hired someone.
Obasanjo can be seen riding the tricycle in the photographs below.
